He Has Risen!

So, how do you feel this week? Any different? Has anything really changed a whole lot for you? Have you reflected on the gift that has been given to you through the fulfillment of His promise? He is risen is more than just a phrase that you reply “He has risen indeed”. It is a declaration of the power of God. When we die and are buried we start a new existence but that is only because Jesus died, went to the grave and overcame the bond of death, the absolute absence of life. By rising out of the grave, Jesus has proven that there is nothing in the universe that is greater than God. So this means that when Jesus declares that those who follow Him will find life in eternity, He has shown us that this promise is achievable through Him. So you know what this means?

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. Ps 100:4-5

So take some time and reflect on what the Lord has done for you, for me and for all the people of the world. He did not come to persecute but rather to save. His promise was witnessed at the empty grave, the Temple was restored in three days and He Has Risen!

Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy.
For the Lord Most High is awesome, the great King over all the earth.
He subdued nations under us, peoples under our feet.
He chose our inheritance for us, the pride of Jacob, whom he loved.
God has ascended amid shouts of joy, the Lord amid the sounding of trumpets.
Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises.
For God is the King of all the earth; sing to him a psalm of praise. Psalm 47:1-7

Let your voices ring out, let your hearts sing free for the King of kings lives! Join us if you can at 10:30 MST on Sunday or you can watch us live online on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/MainAvenueFellowship/) or view it afterwards on our website (www.mainavefellowship.blogspot.ca).

Blessings
Pastor Todd
