‘Finding Favor with GOD’

Day 1: Proverbs 8:33-35 – “Listen to my instruction and be wise. Don’t ignore it.  Joyful are those who listen to me, watching for me daily at my gates, waiting for me outside my home!  For whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the Lord.”

Day 2: Proverbs 11:27 – “If you search for good, you will find favor; but if you search for evil, it will find you!”

Day 3: Proverbs 12:2 – “The Lord approves of those who are good, but he condemns those who plan wickedness.”

Day 4: Proverbs 22:1-4 – “Choose a good reputation over great riches; being held in high esteem is better than silver or gold. The rich and poor have this in common:  The Lord made them both.  A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences. True humility and fear of the Lord lead to riches, honor, and long life.”

Day 5: Isaiah 58:11 – “The Lord will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring.”

Day 6: James 1:25 – “But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it.”

Day 7: Ephesians 2:8, 9 – “God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.”
