The Perfect 7-day Diet – Peter’s Picks
‘We All Need God’s Grace’
Day
1: Romans 3:23, 24 – “For everyone has sinned; we all fall
short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right
in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the
penalty for our sins.”
Day 2: Ephesians
2:8, 9
– “God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for
this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we
have done, so none of us can boast about it.”
Day
3: 2 Chronicles 30:9 – “For if you return to the Lord, your
relatives and your children will be treated mercifully by their captors, and
they will be able to return to this land. For the Lord your God is
gracious and merciful. If you return to him, he will not continue to turn his
face from you.”
Day
4: 2 Timothy 1:9 – “For God saved us and called us to live a holy life.
He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from
before the beginning of time – to show us his grace through Christ Jesus.”
Day 5: Isaiah 30:18 – “So
the Lord must wait for you to come to him so he can show you his love
and compassion. For the Lord is a faithful God. Blessed are those who
wait for his help.”
Day
6: Titus 2:11, 12 – “For the grace of God has been revealed,
bringing salvation to all people. And we are instructed to turn from
godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with
wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God…”
Day 7: Hebrews 4:16 – “So let
us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his
mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.”
