Prayer For The Church

One of my favourite Apostles was Paul. My life has been a rather rollercoaster with a time of great joy and happiness on the farm to a low of living off scraps and garbage in the big city and wondering if there is light at the end of the tunnel. Paul lived life to the fullest in the service of the governing religious authority and then was brought low to the point of relying on the generosity of a stranger for his needs. When he fully understood the roll in the Kingdom plan, he fully grasped the fullness of God’s being and went forward with great fervour.

Over the past nine years, I have come to better understand his ministry and the fullness of my God. It is not about building one single church but rather about building the body of faith. Build the body of faith in spiritual strength, in relational power and in unwavering love. Mankind separates the faith into denominations but Christ wants us together as a united body building each other up in love and compassion. Paul preached this, prayed for this and lived this. I admire that drive and focus and wish to emulate it in my own life.

God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.
Glory to God in the church! Glory to God in the Messiah, in Jesus! Glory down all the generations! Glory through all millennia! Oh, yes! Eph 3:20-21 Msg

We invite you to join us this Sunday either in person or online. Services start at 10:30 MST and can be seen live on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/MainAvenueFellowship/) or viewed afterwards on our website (www.mainavefellowship.blogspot.ca).
