Day 1: Isaiah
55:1 – “Is anyone thirsty? Come and drink – even if you have
no money! Come, take your choice of wine or milk – it’s all free!”
Day 2: Psalm 19:7, 8 – “The
instructions of the Lord are perfect, reviving the soul. The decrees of the
Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The commandments of the Lord are
right, bringing joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are clear, giving
insight for living.”
Day 3: 1 Corinthians 1:18 – “The message
of the cross is foolish to those who are headed for destruction! But we who are
being saved know it is the very power of God.”
Day 4: Romans 12:2 – “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world,
but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then
you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and
perfect.”
Day 5: Psalm
119:89 – “Your eternal word, O Lord, stands firm in heaven.”
Day 6: James 1:21, 22 – “So get rid
of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the word God has
planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls. But don’t just
listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling
yourselves.”
Day 7: Hebrews 4:12 – “For the word
of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword,
cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our
innermost thoughts and desires.”
